Kjæreng Farm offers a unique experience located just 20 minutes away from Tromsø city center. Nestled in stunning surroundings with minimal light pollution, the farm provides an ideal setting for viewing the mesmerizing aurora borealis. While anticipating the northern lights, visitors can interact with the friendly animals on the farm. This includes engaging with various breeds and learning about their care routines.

If the chilly weather gets to you, guests can warm up by the bonfire inside a lavvu. Delicious locally-made food, including the option for everyone to barbecue their own hot dogs (vegetarian choice available), will be offered by the fire.

Important Note: Visitors who have been in contact with farm animals outside of Norway within 48 hours prior to visiting are kindly asked not to participate due to strict disease prevention regulations.
The farm provides car seats for children aged 5 and above. For younger children, it is recommended to bring your own car seat.
Guests are advised to dress appropriately for the weather conditions, which may include woolen underwear, winter garments, windproof/waterproof clothing, hats, and gloves.
Meeting Point: 18:45 (06:45 pm) at Kirkegata 2 (Tromsø Tourist Shop). Look for the guide who will escort you to the vehicle.
